FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is floating?

A: Let us rock your world on that! Floating is the way we call using our efloater. We designed them to mimic the action of "carving", the term used by skiers. Imagine the shuffling left and right action by skiers, that's exactly what you can do with our efloater. Cool eh?

Q: How do I turn the efloater on?

A: First you have to sign up, click here to do that. Once you are all signed up, you need to locate an available efloater and use the app to rent it. You can learn more about the app and how to rent here. Once you rent an efloater, all the lights will turn on and you are ready to float!

Q: Ok, I have signed up and rented the efloater. But, how do I actually use it?

A: Cool, if the efloater is rented, all the lights will be turned on and you can now start floating. First, place one foot on the efloater and place your other foot on the ground. Next, push off and let the efloater roll forward. Then, gently twist the throttle on the right side downwards to accelerate. Got it? Check here for tips on accelerating and braking,

Q: I am a beginner and have never used an electric scooter before. Is it difficult?

A: Don't sweat it! There's a small learning curve, but the efloater is so easy to use and it has 3 wheels so it balances by itself. You'll pick it up in seconds! We are sure of it!

Q: Ok, I finished floating and had loads of fun! How do I return it?

A: You have to first end your trip. Check here on how to do that using the app. Once you end your trip, all the efloater lights will turn off and the status indicator will show green (indicating that is is available for rent).

Q: What do I do if I have a problem or need help?

A: Don't worry, we got you covered. Simply drop us an e-mail via the app (check here on how to do that) or you can send a mail directly to us at help@e-floater.com and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
